Two months is a long time without a poo. If your snake likes to burrow then chances are it's been pooping under the substrate. We use Repti-Bark with both our snakes and I have to admit it's sometimes hard to spot the poo because it blends in so well with the Repti-Bark. Neither of our Snakes burrows much anymore- it was just a passing fad. ;)

If you give your fella a tepid warm bath, chances are he'll drop his load if he's been constipated.

Good Luck.

Mine is always hiding under the ground or under its water bowl. How oftern should i change the substraight or is there a way of cleaning it.

I switched to the Habi-chips just for that reason. I couldn't even see the poo in the substrate I was using. I'm sure it's there though.

With bark/aspin ect. you should spot clean it every time you see some snake poo and every 2-3 months you should change the substrate.
Have a good check through the bark for any poo.

Like Alex said, you should clean the poo up as soon as you see it.

We start looking for poo 48 hours after a feeding. When we fed our snakes pinkies they would poo two days after eating just like clockwork, and would drop a load a minimum of two times. Now that they're on fuzzies tthey take longer to digest, so it's usually 3 or 4 days before we see the first poo.

We usually find the poo near the perimeter of the cage, although our Anery was using one of his hides for a private WC for awhile. We were thinking of hanging up a couple of posters and giving him a really small copy of Reptile Magazine and Sports Illistrated to help him pass the time, but there's no need now since he's stopped using his hide as a toilet. :p

Cheers,
Jason

We use newpaper for that reason until they move up prey size and the poo gets more substantial and easier to spot. It may not look as nice but we can always tell when fuerte has had a good poo.
Peace

I used to line my tank in paper towels. That way it was very easy to see when and where he went.

But my mom got a paper shredder, and I thought the little paper shreds made a great substrate which can be burrowed through and stuff. It's definetly harder to tell where and when, because usually he deposits it closer to the bottom.

My little guy usually goes 2-3 times per meal, the first being a day or two after eating, the last being within 3 or 4 days of eating. Usually if you are near the tank right after, you can sort of smell it, but the smell doesn't last long. And since my snake has a pale tummy, if you look underneath, you can tell if a bowel movement is coming, because there will be a dark spot right near the vent. If my snake has a dark spot then, I won't hold him that day :)
