I have the option of acquiring three sub adult corns this week, but only have the space for one of them. They are a package deal and craigslist rescue.

I am from middle tennessee and wondered if anyone would like to take one of the others. One is a male ghost corn(2 feet), a male amber (2 feet), and a normal female (almost 3 feet). They all have unknown hets. I don't have a problem giving them away if you can come pick them up either. I just don't know what to do because i only have space for one but would like to keep all three. i'm just interested in giving the best care possible for these snakes and i know i cant do that cause i dont have space for all three. so if you can help me out please let me know as soon as possible.

if possible i would like to know if you can help me out by this weekend, i know thats not a lot of notice but i am just interested in the best care for these animals.

Any advice or help would be appreciated.

If there is anyone on the boards from middle tennessee send me a pm and we can talk about getting them to you.

Rule number 1, when you get something off of Craig's list, petco, petsmart or any petstore its not a rescue. A rescue is when you are handed an animal in bad condition from the humane society and rehab it. Getting animal from someone who no longer wants it is not a rescue. (ok off my soap box on this)

But you have answered your own question.. You do not have the room so do no get the animals. Its easy as that. Its something to pass on or let some one else get the animals.

well i know that these snakes are not getting the best care that they deserve. i just wondered if i could find someone that i could give them to that would actually care for them properly. im trying to help the animals but unfortunately only have space for one. i thought this would be a good place to ask because i know quite a few people here care a lot about corn snakes and i don't want to leave them in not the best hands possible.

I "adopt" snakes from craigslist also, and their previous owners knew the basics of care for them but not much else about corns. So they are better off with me. If I were in TN I might consider taking two but I'm not. I suggest posting a thread with pics of the two you wouldn't keep and title it TN Residents, or something to get their attention. That's all I got for advice.

The bottom line is that if you're taking on animals you know you can't care for, then it's "out of the frying pan and into the fire" as far as any rescue scenario goes. Is there any way you can just take the one you do have room for, then just spread the word about the other two?

If you're waiting for someone here to say it's OK to house them together temporarily, then you may be in for a long wait.

How much space do you have?
Tanks take up wayyy too much space, imo.
Go to walmart and get some tubs, they are stackable.
Then get a soldering iron and put some air holes in them, if you go from the inside out there will be no rough edges.

I've closed this thread because it does not state anywhere in the original message that these snakes will be given away for FREE. Therefore, if you are looking for any kind of adoption fee, service fee, whatever fee you want...you can pay the fee on this site to advertise. PM for details if you are interested. If you are indeed looking to give these animals away for FREE, PM me those details and I'll bring it to the other mods and the site admin and see what we can do.
