Hey all! :licklips:

I'm proud to say that I am the new owner of a baby cornsnake (well, "she" is about 4 months old - not so much of a baby - but my baby :D)

I just brought her home not a few hours ago so she's still a little bit too shy to come out for (sneaky) pictures. I promise she's cute! :crazy02:

Bit of a ramble here BUT I promise her little face will pop up here in the next couple of days or so! Sorry if it seemed like a pointless post... >.>

:wavey: That's all for now!

Here we go! As promised, we have some new pictures of my little girl! I've named her Boo, so I thought I'd share her with you all!

P.S. I have no idea how to resize pictures D:

if your photo/scan program won't re-size, you can always open the picture(s) in the "Windows Paint" program, then select the re-size option, it will re-size the picture by a percentage, so 50% would make it half the current size, 10% would make it a tenth of the current size....etc...... Judging by the size of these pictures, you could easily re-size to about 20%. As they are now, they're really not even viewable.

Oh okay, thanks, I'll get that done ASAP!

Hoping that this is all okay, I thought I'd turn this into Boo's growth thread! :D Sooo, it turns out my "girl" is 48 grams in weight and 24 inches in length! As always, picture time!

Merry Christmas and congratulations. I somehow missed it when you posted the End of last month. 4 months is still a baby, or at least in human terms a very young toddler. They are still kind of shy at four months. Your pics are adorable! She's a sweetheart. Merry Christmas!

I just got a new corn snake too :) mine just hides all day but I held it today for the first time. yours is absulutly gorgeous :)

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new snake. Merry Christmas!

She's gone up to about 50/51g now, so she's growing nice and big! Had her first constrict last night, so it was kinda exciting to me!

Merry Christmas, everyone.

I read a post somewhere (it's here on the site somewhere) about somebody with a corn snake that weighs 3.5 grams!!!! Now that's tiny. A nickel weighs 5 grams. I can't imagine taking care of a snake that weighs less than a nickel. I'm so glad Rufus was already 3 months old and already about 50 grams when I got him. A lot of the folks I see on this site with "Problems" tend to be with Hatchlings for the most part.

We had a pair of amel motley twins at RbM that were 1g each. One unfortunately was fed more than it could handle and passed, but the other seemed to thrive on anole pieces until it could take small pinks.
