Hi, My name is Travis and my first corn snake (well, first snake ever) came in today! Here is a picture of what he will look like full-grown but I can assure at 11-12 months old now, he is already gorgeous.

That is where I got him from and it was so close that they didn't have to over-cool him for shipping.
I got to handle him for a few minutes before I had to run back to work. Even though he seemed a little frightened from being in the dark box, he never struck at me and was very actively climbing over my hands. I could tell when he really just started trying to get away so I put him in the tank.
I was hoping for some tips about introducing him to the new environment and when to feed him.
I have read that some people recomend handling them as little as possible the first 5 days to let them get used to the new habitat. I have also heard of people handling them frequently to really get them used to the contact.
Please express your opinions.
