New surroundings

When I'm putting my corn in the tank for the first time, is there any specific place to put it, like by the waterbowl or on the warm end so it can know where these places are? Or will it just find these places on its own? Also, will replacing old cage furinuture with new ones confuse the snake or do they readjust with no stress? I was just wondering.

Hi,
Any new surrounding places little stress on the snake. I dont think that you have to put it in any particular place. It will find it's way around.
I would place it near the hide on the cool side so that if it goes in the hide it will not get over heated if it is too nervous to come out. I think though that the snake will make itself comfortable.

My hatchlings sometimes poop on/in their hide boxes and I have to replace them and they don't seem to mind it too much.
