New things, how do I steralise?

Hi,
I just bought some things for my snake, a half log hide, a bendy branch and a little jungle plant. However they don't have any steralising information on them!

Does anyone know how to do it?

Thanks

I bake things. If you put them for 15 min. in the oven, they should be OK. However, with wood I get it wet first before baking it s it doesn't burn :).

Oh. I forgot to add that things I get from the pet store I usually just wash with water. I bake things I find in the wild.

lol. I haven't had that problem (yet). You will probably be OK just wasing the things with water. Some people use mild bleach (I think. Don't quote me on that), but I refuse to use anything toxic. You could probably use soap if you want to be extra careful. I've never had an issue with the things that I've washed off with water.

You can wash most things with anti-bacterial dish soap (Dawn or whatever), and if you do bake anything, wrap it in foil first to avoid the :flames:burns.
