Well appon further research after haveing kept my two male corns together for about a year i am in the planing stages of correcting this. Currently the two boy one about 3.5' the other just over 4' are both together in a 50 gal 36"x 18" x 18" viv with heat lamp(also with plans of switching to heat mat. The stand for the current viv has a built in double shelf (will post pics later). I was thinking of turning the top of these two shelves into another viv and purhaps putting some doors on the other shelf to make it look more finished.

My question is how should i go about sealing the would to prevent and damage from the moisture? Currently the stand is painted with semigloss paint. The dimentions of the viv would be 33" by 15" deep x 12" high would this be fine for an adult male corn?

So far this is what i think i need to fix the prolems i am having
-2 UTH one for a 50 gal one for a 20-30 gal
-a total of 4 digital thermometers(currently using stick ons)
-a piece of wood for the back of the shelf
-a vent for the sencond viv
-the strips for holding the galss sliding doors
-2 pieces of glass

Am i missing anything? Other then of course decor. All this i find out i am doing wrong as i am planing on getting a third corn which will eventualy need another tank. This third Corn will end up having a third tank built seperate from where the two current ones are. Woud love all three to have seperate locations but in an apt with a cat, dog, 2 snakes, 55 gal aquarium and a 13 month old, plus a husband with two computers gets kinda crowded.

Also just looking at prices for stuff i need this tank comes out to about a 25 gal sould i go with the UTh for a 10-20 gal or one for a 30-40 gal

a 20L gallon tank would be fine..also don't forget a thermostat or rheostat to control the UTH...also maybe to help you save some money..depending on the length of the 50 gallon tank..you could always just buy a divider and turn a 50 gallon into 2 25 gallon tanks..

Well to buy the tanks and screen lids would cost more the to do it this way. Also the 50 gal as i mentioned is only 36" so not long enough to devide
