Hello my name is Anthony Dykas and I live in Murfreesboro, Tn. Murfeesboro is a college town 40 min outside of Nashville, TN. I acquired my new corn snake from a local reptile shop. I have owned 6 different species of snakes, in my 22 years of living. I have not owned a snake in almost 8 years, although I have always found them interesting. I am studying Biology at Middle Tennessee State University, and I started feeling lonely in my apartment, and being so used to having animals around (two dogs at my parents). I now have "Randy" keeping me company in life. Randy is a few months old, but I do not know what morph he is.

My girlfriend holding a snake for the first time.

Randy is in a 20 gallon viv with a UTH on his warm side along with a day and night bulb. warm side constant temp of 83 and the cool side a constant 73. Randy loves his viv, and I have had him for 3 weeks now, and Randy is a very active little guy in his new home.

He's so cute. He looks like a normal. I sort of wish normals stayed like that, but nooooo, they must turn beautiful. Welcome to the forum!

Ha ha thank you! I was thinking normal but he does not have orange spots going all the way down dividing the red. Just up to about the 3rd red spot from his head

Then maybe he's a Miami? If so you're lucky because I love those, even though they're not one of those fancy ones that are worth a lot.

He really resembles a sun kissed crimson, but I will have to wait for him to grow until I can be sure.
