Night time temps

I have the heater on a timer. The heat goes off at night, and the snakes cool off to room temperature -- high 60s to low 70s F. It's similar to what they'd get in the wild. Also, I've seen material indicating that a 24 hr per day, 7 day a week "optimum" temperature produces problems such as killing the males' sperm. This has worked for my corns.
 
Intense heat is what kills the snakes' sperm. According to Don Soderberg it's only tempatures 90*+ for prolonged amounts of time.

You can either have the tempature drop down to the 70's or you can just do like most others do and just leave the day time tempatures up and running.
