not a compleat shed

ok my little guy didn't shed all the way and it's been a few days and there still is part on his tail i tried to give him and bath and gently rub at the old skin to try to get it off but he hated that and almost jumped out of my hand any suggestions onm what i can do i know this can hurt them if the skin stays on to long she shed like on sat or sun i think

Hi, yes it is bad if you dont get all the old shed off. As the snakes grows the old skin will not stretch enough and the tip of the tail will fall off.
You need to soak it for about 5-10 minutes and then very gently use your fingures and rub off the old skin.

you could try this...if you have a cotton bag that is...anything cotton will be good...
make de cotton sack really wet, put the snake in it is put it in de cage where it used to be...
if the shed has been on for several day it hardens and it will be difficult to get it off...this way the snake will be humid all day long and it might even be that he/she will get the remaining part of itself...if not the shed will be humid enough (should be) to get it off easily...
i hope it helps cause that shed really needs to get off especially on the tail...
