Not sleeping during brumation

Well its the first time I brumate my snakes so Im always so worried. They were nice and fat going into brumation and Im still worried. Today when I opened my male snow's container he was wide awake! Also I put my female 2-3 weeks after the male...Is it a big deal and do I take them out of brumation at the same time?
Thanks

Brumation for Corns isn't like hibernation - they don't "go to sleep" like bears do for example, and they can still move around a little. That's why you need to have water in with them, just in case.

What you saw was normal.

I'm guessing you need to take male & female out of brumation at the same time. Females seem most "attractive" following their post-brumation shed, so you need your guy to be wide awake and ready to go when she is!
