Spring is here!
I have 2 normal phase corns. One that's an adult with very little checkerboard on it's belly and a hatchling that's got ALOT of decent checkerboard. One thing I wonder aside from the way the checkerboard shows is the black outline of the orange on the back. Do all normals have some black outline? my adult seems to have minimual black outline where as the baby has none at all. the diff colors just sorta end and start.....thanks

normal pics

Here are a few normal pics. first is y 06 female Okeetee from Kathy Love, then a pic of my 03 Okeetee that I bought as an adult and was said to be an okeetee but doesn't have much black. Took quick pics and didn't want to disturb them.

Well, if it's not obvious, the board posted them in opposite order. First is the 03 then the 06

I have a few normals that are very light on black like that. Here's my one female Okeetee het amel that has very light black on her borders. I think it looks a lot like yours. Sorry about the photobucket links...they won't let you post the full image anymore. Some sort of change to the site.

Even some of my locality Okeetees do not have huge black borders.

Now compared to my other female locality Okeetee, you can see how thick her borders are:

thanks for the replies. I'm trying to post a couple of pics of Tiaga to show her back and belly marks....thanks again

yes I know, I'm working on that. Was one of my concerns about her, and have started feeding her on a 5 day schedule instead of a 2 - 3 week schedule I had read some were feeding thiers for fear of getting too fat. I now know I was WAYYYYYYY off on how much to feed her. I know am feeding her 1 small rat once a week......but I truly do appreciate the comments
