I'd like to find more info if available. Where, what time, admission, etc.... I'm really diggin' this web site!!!!! Dennis............ :crazy02: :crazy02:

It's at Dorton Arena at the Raleigh State Fairgrounds, April 30th-May 1st. It starts at 10am and ends at 5pm. I can't remember how much admission is, I bought my VIP tickets online a while ago and they were $12, but that included a surcharge. All the info is at www.reptileandexoticanimalshow.com. :wavey:

P.S. There is also a link on that site to view the new proposed bill limiting which "exotic" animals we are allowed to own in NC. There are addresses to the congressmen you can write to, and there will be a booth with info and a petition to sign at the show itself. Check it out folks!

Good morning Jen!
Thanks for the info. You've been a great help. Dennis.....

Hey Jen -- how do you get the bit at the bottom of your posts with your name and the list of sexed snakes? I just tried to figure that out and had no luck at all. I'd appreciate the assistance.

Gary

Or give me one helluva headache! You would think you teach this stuff or something...... Oh yeah, you do! Thanks for the info, and I know after reading it a few times and taking notes, it will make sense to me. I've been out of the loop on herps for 25 years and it seems like an eternity! I owe you a cold beer.....matter of fact, gonna get me one right now.

Well, the best way to help figure it out would be to make a sort of diagram. Well, actually the best way would probably be to get Serp's book AND read the info on his site....excellent information to start you out btw, which, in case you don't have his site this is it.......http://www.serpwidgets.com/Apps/apps.html There is excellent info on genetics and the morphs and such.

But anyway, here is a quick example, but I suggest you go to Serp's web page, it will be of good help to you.

so if i have a male from 05 it would be 1.0.5? or just 1.0 ?because i see some that use 3 numbers...or is that if you dont know the sex, i.e. 0.0.1 would be 1 that i dont know the sex of?

It would be 1.0 The numbers you see is how many of each they have. For instance, I have 1 male and 2 female locality Aztec Okeetees so it would be 1.2 My green tree pythons I have no males, 1 female, and one unknown. It would be 0.1.1
