Obtaining breeding mice in Ireland

Does anyone know of anywhere I can obtain breeding mice in Ireland?

I have six non-feeding cornsnake babies and I'd like to try them on live to get them started eating and then switch to F/T.
Any future mice bred would be euthanised and destined for the freezer and the bellies of my adult corns, cali king, royal and boas.

Hi there,

I don't live in Ireland but I would imagine you could buy live mice from just about any petshop...:)

You might be better off just finding someone who has breeding mice that is willing to sell you live pinks. Because chances are if you start a colony of mice you won't get babies right away -- could be over a month. So it may not be a good solution for your non-feeders for live.

I say this because i have 1.3 mice, and have had 1 litter of pinks, which were all eaten or partially eaten by the adults. And I've had this colony for about a month now.

Just find "pet" mice in a pet shop. You may have to go to 2 shops to get the sexes separately if they won;t sell you a mixed sex pair or trio. You don't have to tell them you are going to breed them =)

It is true, it may take 2 months or more before you have any pinkies. Just make sure you don't get used up breeder adults.
