I cant beleave it i went to feed my crimson corn today and he wast there!!! I have searched the whole tank and he isnt in it.

I have noi idea how he got out the tank is very secure, well i thought it was anyways.

Im in the proccess of thawing a pinkie just now as it is feeding day so i am going to put that in a pillow case and leave it on the floor ina conrner. Do you think this might work?? he may go in eat it then fall asleep in the pillow case.

The only problem i have is that this is also my office so i have a pc in it and it gets pretty warm, and im just worried incase the snake thinks ahhh somewhere nice to sleep and gets wacked by the fan inside.

I have looked at other posts on this issue and i am going to try the talkum powder thing and put in near the skirting boards and at the bottom of the door to see where he is traveling too.

I cant beleave this im so shocked he got out

;-(

sorry to hear that

try to search around the tank first.
then make the circles bigger and look at warm spots.
maybe you can throw flower on the floor at door posts.( for tracks)

three of my snakes have escaped and i found them all three within days. two times within 3 meters from the terraria.

good luck;)

look in high places and around the perimeter of your room. Oh and check uner the tank last time mine got out it was under the tank. Dont worry though my snake got out and i found it 3 months later.

looking out

Sorry to hear about your snake. I lost a ratsnake for 4 weeks. It turned up sat in the powder draw of the wash machine, very wet & cold. Try looking in any hole that it could fit in. We made the mistake of putting ours back in the viv but the heat was too much of a shock & we nearly killed it. Best to bring the body temp up very slowly at 1st. Happy hunting mate hope it'll turn up.........;)
