ok yester day i replaced the alpine chipes aspen chips or what ever they were called with a towel since im out off chips for bedding
and the temp got up to 90!
so i was wondering wut is the max temature they can withstand:?:
 
90 is high. 95 is dangerzone.

And what are you using for a thermometer? The ambient temps should remain the same if you're using a bulb, but if you're using a UTH, different substrates will absorb the heat better than others.

um i am useing 1 of the sticky strip thamometers that stick to vv
and has thes things that look like streached honeycombs that have numbers in it that show when the temp is at that point... (forgot the brand lol i think it it a kritterz thamometer tho)

the temp went down tho dunno y now it at 80-85ish hasnt gon up since
