this is Gia, my nice little MBK who stopped eating for 4 freaking months because i switched to rats(didn't clue in to timing as we had our male on rats for months and always thawed the feeders in the same cup/same time)

we purchased mice in december for breeding, which didn't work out, we had 1 litter and had been raising it to add to the colony, well tired of the smell/lack of litters we decided to just purchase pinkies, so we started culling, taking a chance we offered gia a f/k in a feeding tank, nada, she has been housed in a 40 gal l and never comes out so i stuck her in a bin with hide/water and decided to stick the f/k mouse in with her, she almost ate tongs and all.

yay, she ate, 6 days later, she ate again, then she stopped again(i'm gonna murder her soon)
but then she went into shed so i waited, today she shed so i thawed a mouse, and whammy no hesitation,

now i have been looking to rehome her as all our snakes are on rats, and mice prices here are outrageous(1.99 for a hopper)
today i took a chance hoping i could pull one over on her(it's failed before)
and snagged a rat pup and stuck it in, shocking me she tagged it immediately and swallowed it, now she was offered live rats 4 or 5 times at least with no interest(2+ hours later still there)

i'm hoping this isn't a one time slip for her, as i only have a few mice left, and if i can get her on rats, she will be staying.

anyway, this is probably 75% excuse to post pics of her and her future man(if she stays) then any real reason LOL

i added a pic of her chin, i never notice how little white she had, being so shy etc, where diablo has a few very noticable white spots
