I had a similar situation happen with my chameleon, except Sadie was in the cage at the time. I got home from work (and of course it was the morning shift) to find the screen on top of the BRAND NEW enclosure busted in. Both lights were in the enclosure as well. I looked around for Sadie for quite awhile, and eventually found her climbing on the wire shelves about 2 feet away.

Dang things are lucky they're cute! :smash:
 
I have a 20 gal that sits open, I use it for breeding, and one of my cats likes to hang out in it. She even tried to hop in while snakes were "busy". I did have the lid on it at that time, but I don't know who it scared more, me, the cat or the snakes when she hit the wire lid and bounced off.

Personally, If I was getting "busy" then I wouldn't want a massive furry giant behind me....
