Hello, I have a five year old female corn, and ever since I moved to my new apartment 2 weeks ago she is constantly on the move. As soon as I got to the new place I cleaned her whole tank out and cleaned everything in it, gave her fresh bedding etc. And ever since then she is constantly moving around her tank, even climbing all the way up to the lid and clinging there until she falls down. She keeps pressing her nose against the glass as if she's sniffing something out.
Is this just spring fever? Is she searching for a man?
From what research I've done this seems to be what the issue is, but I would also like to know how long does this go on for? And generally how old are females when they start to go into heat, per say? I've never seen her act this way before.
