One Ticked Off Boa

Lovely little grumpy girl. I had one that would act like that on feeding day but she's calmed down now and pays me no mind when she's gotten her rat. They are so cute when they puff up like that. LOL

Thank you! How long did it take your girl to calm down? I'm hoping Vesper will eventually. I think she's comfortable now, so she decided to let me know that she isn't worried about me eating her...in fact, I should be worried about her eating me!

How long have you had her? My girl calmed down when I started feeding her a little more frequently. Apparently she was hungry. LOL

I've had her for about three weeks - she's had two meals with us and the first was smaller than what she'd normally get. (I wanted to keep her first meal with me smaller - mostly because the thought of the stress put on her by being shipped stressed ME out and I didn't want to push it. This time was a full mouse - so maybe she was thinking 'Finally, lady!' ?

I'd say this is your problem with her attitude. Honestly, because she is a baby, I'd feed her about every 6 days. I bet you will see a big difference in her attitude if you do. :)

We've got her on a 7 day schedule now; I'm sure she wouldn't have a problem if we bumped her up a day! :) Thanks for the advice Becky; I really appreciate it. I'll keep everyone posted over the next couple months as to how her cute little 'tude is coming along!
