Ooooops......Pet Mice!!

Dreqqus

The Ring and The Arrow
Well I accidentally have pet mice. One of my amazons has recently went off feed(I rectified that today though). My first idea was to try and feed live mice, as that was what he had been fed prior to my care(for me he had eaten f/t with no issue since February when I got him).

As these things go, time came to put the mouses in his cage. As is very typical for me, I couldn't bring myself to harm the poor little guys. So I now have pet mice. To make matters, not worse, but perhaps more interesting, the second is a female that appears to be pregnant(I could never even consider killing a mother!). Wish me luck!!

PS: The tree boa happily scarfed one of Pustulio's frozen/thawed quail.

I know the feeling, I started with colored mice. I have such a hard time using them as feeders. I'm now switching to white mice as feeders as there is no cute little brown nose or cute spots... Good luck with the babies, susan

Hehehe uh-oh, if she has those babies, you might feel bad that her young will be fed off to a snake and you might end up with more mice than you can handle! I think I'll be sticking to f/t :D
