Our baby won't eat

Please help. Our 9 week old baby corn will not eat pinkies on his own. He does seem to try as there are fang marks every time. He goes to our specialist vet once a week for an assist feed of a tail but he is not growing, he is just maintaining his weight of 8g.

Have you been weighing the pinkies? If so what size are you feeding? It could be that he is trying to eat but the mouse is just a little too big. I've been selecting the tiniest newborns I can find for my 7g hatchling.

Hello - I posted a response in your welcome message but in case you didn't see it, I have reposted it here:

I am very sorry that is happening. Have you talked to the vet about other feeding options. I don't have any experience with problem feeders but I have read some about it on this forum. I know that there is one technique where people "scent" the mice with either anoles or soap. You could try searching for that.

If you scroll down in this care sheet a little bit, there is a section written by Kathy Love (very well regarded as corn snake expert) about non-feeder babies. Hopefully this will help you.
