Anyway, you asked about genetics. The "bible" for that is the Cornsnake Morph Guide, 2009 edition. VMS still has 3 available (vmsherp.com) (and no, I'm not affiliated with them!). Ours is used all the time to see what's what, and I learned an awful lot from it. BTW, the way you can tell that Jackie is not a motley is by her belly checkers. Motleys have clear bellies.

Thanks for the book recommendation!!! :) I will have to get that, and yes, scarily enough we are already talking about getting another! The kids EACH -even the two year old- want their own. Maybe in a few years when each kid can clean their own tank! I'm going to have to go read your first blog now!
 
I didn't know you could get the Morph Guide spiral bound! If you can, that's a great idea. Mine is already suffering from constant use!
