Out walking in the bush...

Bluebird

lovin my Okeetee boy
with my dogs ( 3 of them ), my son (age 12 on his mini mototcycle), and my husband in his chair scooter ( he can't walk--he's an incomplete quadrapalegic from a car accident 2 years ago ). We make quite the vision to others out in the bush..lol

well, last night it was like something ridiculous out of a comedy...my dogs were in the tall grass by some bushes, captivated by something...I called them to leave it alone and come, (because the last thing I need is to take 3 dogs to an emergency vet for porcupine quills)...as we start walking away from the spot, I hear something...although in my mind I was like...'we are out in the middle of nowhere, how can I hear that?'......I turn around.......

there are two baby kittens following us down the trail! They followed us all the way home! We looked so silly going down the trail, with three dogs and two kittens:D They weren't afraid of us or the dogs..which leads me to believe they are NOT wild....someone DUMPED them out in the middle of the forest! I can't believe someone would leave them out there for foxes, wolves, bears..etc

Needless to say, they are in garage right now, cute as buttons...and now my problem..lol They are about 6-7 weeks old, both females, one orange tabby, and one tortie.

I'll post pics later ;)

as Lil said they were very lucky you and your family were out walking in that area at that time. Can't wait to see pics of the 2. Are you going to keep them?

While I really can't stand cats, I agree with you that whoever dumped them out there is completely unbelievable!

Glad they found you!!! They're now your problem.... and your blessing!

Fred
