Overcast day - got a few out

DragonsDenSerpents

Murphy's Guinea Pig
Wasn't the best day for photos, but I managed to get Starbuck, Stella, and Luna out for photos today.

Luna's up first, my slow growing 2011 Pewter lady. She's been clicking a tad and she literally JUST shed. Nose is clear and no excess saliva in her mouth, but I may bring her into the vet just in case. She's finally up to hoppers and around 80g.

Next is Starbuck, my 2011 pied blood boy. He's a beast, around 170g and doesn't like to cooperate much. I'm very excited to pair him with Stella and Merlot next year!

And finally bratty Stella, my 2011 Okeetee phase Tessera from Graham Criglow at Strange Cargo Exotics. Stella's been a little hellion lately, but she cooperated well enough (sort of) for photos. This lady is almost on weanlings!

The first picture of Starbuck looks like he has a dent in his head! LOL

I thought so too! I had to relook at it to make sure!

Beautiful snakes! I've been watching for an overcast day here to take some pictures, but it's usually very bright out. Love your tessera - really clean pattern.

Haha, yeah, the shadow in that photo made him look like he had a dent in his head. The whole afternoon was weird - great lighting for 30 sec, then nothing. Going to try again tomorrow with Tony Stark, Merlot, Parkay, Tomatillo, Loki, and Valkyrie (if she decides not to be a loon).

Couple more snakes. Val and Tomatillo were in shed, and Loki was terrified, so those guys did not get photos today. I'm loving my new macro lens though and fiddled with it a bit more today. Was fighting the direct sunlight the whole time this time!

First is Tony Stark, a 2012 model sunkissed from Joanna at Mojo Herps. He's het for just about everything and will pair nicely with Tomatillo hopefully next year or 2015. He's an eating machine!

Next is Parkay, my 2009 butter motley lady. She's putting weight back on after her clutch, nearly all of which went bad. :( Hoping for at least one good baby from her and Dustin this year. She is a snake I bring to schools and stores - she's got the sweetest temperament and anyone can hold her.

And finally Merlot, my 2011 female low expression pied sided bloodred from Tom. She and Stella make feeding days interesting as they both are piranhas and think everything is food! She's growing nicely though and over 100g now.

Fantastic snakes ! are you going to breed the two PS BRs together ?

Thank you! Yes, Starbuck and Merlot will be one of my pairings for next year provided the little lady gets up to size properly. I don't powerfeed at all, but she's been growing at a steady pace.
