Pandora, 2010 White-sided GBR

Tom, after something like 30 days, your posts cant be edited... there is not an edit button there anymore.

I think I remember that topic about white-sideds too. They were super high definition pieds from what I remember. I kinda like my girls splotchy look :D

Ooops! My bad~ never looked at the date.:)

Great looking animal!! I see some very nice pied areas.:cool: However I would refrain from calling it a white-sided.:)

It's not the true white sided like the rats but Don and I where talking a couple years back and there where some people who had some really great diffused granites and where calling that pied. We thought those should be more than a white sided look and not pied cause as you know pied is mostly in various random spots surrounded by pigment. I think that's why it is so hard to see the pied spots on the lighter colored animals like these. All though true pied is there from birth, I can see it would be harder to see until they get alittle size to them.
Just my option
John
BTW these girls are looking great and hope for another clutch from the ghost blood pair!!!

One thing that I've noticed is the over abundance of white in hatchling hypo bloodreds. This can also create some confusion early on in hypo pied specimens. Most of the ghost bloods I produce are of the pastel variety. They start out very light (almost white)& slowly gain the pastel pigmentation.

I'm certain Angela's will only get better with age.:cool:

For those whom are interested here is a link to the whitesided vs pied sided discussion from 2008.
