Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.
Theres no point making posts every 2 minutes in order to get answers, all that will acheive is pissing people off.
ANd I agree above, do try and get a picture. Snakes never peel before they shed - they have a shed where it is like pulling a sock off - it doesnt start to come off flake at a time beforehand. You didn't answer that question about what you meant by the 'fluff' your corn hides under?
Either way, don't stress about it, I'm sure your corn isn't about to die.
well it is a head scale and the shed layer came off and on other parts of her head it is pealing. the "fluff" is the aspen bedding. i have heard that other people had the same prob with their corns, so maybe they do peal.
I know you are stressed but it doesn't sound life threatening. Best thing you can do is see if you can borrow a digital camera from someone. There are many people on this site who have seen just about everything (not me) and could probably tell you what is going on if they had a visual.
okay, so look at this persons problem on the link below: http://cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32001
This is EXACTLY what is happening to my corn. the title is wrinkled looking scales. i am wondering if it will clear up after shed?
