Pet grass?

I was wondering if the grass that Petsmart sells as petgrass would be ok for cornsnakes? I thought about adding some of it into the tank to add a bit of color, and maybe something new for him to crawl around in. I just added bed-a-beast, and he loved it. He's never been around real substrate, haha.

Oooo, good idea. I might try it. Does anyone here know if its safe? I think it is some kind of barley type grass. The soil may have chemicals in it, but you can change that out. The problem for me is, I have a hard time keeping that stuff alive. :shrugs:

Well, Watering shouldnt be that hard. Plus, I would think when watering the grass, it would create humidity in the tank, too... which is always a good thing.

Its not that, its just that I've gotten grass a couple of times, and it hasn't lasted. Don't know why, maybe its me. :shrugs:

i just cant keep plants in my room alive so i doubt id keep grass alive, you should try it it shouldnt do harm, they have it in he wild dont they!?!?!
