Petco rescue snake...

Mom and Pop is not a chain store, I know the guy who has a private owned pet store out here, is very passionate about his snakes. Even though he does cohab corns of the same sex, and It bugs me every time I go in there.

There are places online that you can order f/t day old pinkies, but I am not sure how many you would need, or what websites sell them. I know there are people here to order f/t from rodentpro, I haven't looked at their stock so I am not sure if they have day old pinks.

I order from rodentpro and they do have day old pinkies. :eatpointe

A few years back I was selling some babies to a locally owned pet store. We went in there all the time and really knew the employees. They did a great job with snakes and were willing and eager to learn from me. This particular trip into the store I met a women and her kids were interested in snakes. While the employee was putting away the babies I sold them, the woman asked quietly if I had any other babies available at less than the pet store's price. I said yes and after I was done they followed me to my house and got to see my reptile room. I sold them two babies for less than one at the pet store. They already had everything ready to go. I felt kinda bad undercutting the pet store, but hey, they had my babies to sell, too, and they all sold. I think everyone came out ok.

Because it's all about profit. They have to make money after paying the breeder for the animal they are selling.

Has anybody had experience with nursing "mushy" feeling hatchlings back to normal health? He is like a wet noodle but it seems that there could be a chance of survival since he voluntarily ate. Is it possible for him to survive? I've been at school all day and I'm fearing the worst. I just want to get out of here and find out how he's doing... if he regurged he will surely not make it in this weakened condition.

Offer him the tiniest pinky you can find, as he needs a complete animal to get all his dietary needs.

Also, a baby corn will often take a house gecko or an anole.

Best of luck!

I finally am working with our animal manager tonight, so I can ask her about our feeding schedule on the snakes.
Also, I am going to be asking about getting a discount on our Honduran milk snake. The little guy found his way up into the light fixture over his viv and got burned on some spots. I know that he has a better chance of survival at my house than at the store, but she may want to take him to the vet before doing anything...
