Pewter, Charcoal, and Anery Sibs- for Nate (FyreFocks)

ssssinful-1

Held Hostage By Corns
Nate has been on my case for some updated pics on some of my hatchlings- since they are sibs to a Granite and Charcoal he owns. His persistence has paid off and I snapped off a few shots yesterday evening. :)

The only sib missing is a bloodred that is in blue.

I think i see hypo in the pewter as well.

They all look great! You need to repeat this pairing next year i think.

Gorgeous babies! Are you sure that pewter doesn't have any hypo in him?
Thank you. He is interesting. Genetically, as far as I know he could be an Anery Pewter. As far as Hypo- the dam is possibly het Hypo. She was produced by . The sire was produced by Becky @ Becky's Vivarium. I was told he is Anery het Charcoal and Diffused.

That first baby blows me away! SOOOOOOOO subtle and pretty. The others are beauties, too. I love their pretty pink cheeks :).
I love their pink cheeks too. All of the Aneries, Charcoals, Granites, and the Pewter had these nice pink cheeks.

I think i see hypo in the pewter as well.

I agree, it was a great pairing. I was considering testing her for Hypo with a nice Hypo Motley this spring. But, I really liked what the results were from this pairing. :) I think I am not too worried about her genetics- but perhaps if he his het Hypo. Ummm....

You got some great shots! Your Pewter is outa this world light!! I have a darker Pewter, and while I love his appearance, I'm also very excited to see how my light Pewter will turn out. I just love their metallic appearance.

The Charcoal is of course a beauty, and wow, I even love your Anery! Could that be an Anery Charcoal as well?!

I like the slight mystery of the genetics involved. How old is the Pewter? I think some Pewters can be REALLY light without being Hypo. Hypo Pewters are very pink as hatchlings if I remember correctly. What did this guy look like as a hatchling?

After looking at this baby shot of your Pewter..

It looks like a normal Pewter to me. Especially with only a ph hypo in the lineage, the only way to prove it a Hypo Pewter will be through breeding trials.

Also, you should maybe talk to John (Zorro) about his experience with Pewters. He had an exceptionally light Pewter he thought was maybe het Hypo, and it turns out it wasn't het Hypo at all, but it was het Lavender.
