What's the difference between these next two I can never remember, I just know one is an amazon tree boa and the other is an emerald tree boa:

These were the coolest damn little frogs, I don't think I'd ever seen them before, can't have been more than an inch. Hourglass frogs:

My favorite animal at the entire zoo, aside from the herps. African Wild Dogs:

A very pacey leopard, I felt bad for him

These Zebras made it really interesting for me, they came running up to the fence when I came over so I was able to get a nice shot:

Was the first snake labelled as an ATB? Because that looks like a Green Tree python (from New Guinea, Indonesia etc.) to me, with the second green snake being an Emerald Tree boa (Amazon).

Since the African Wild Dogs were your favourites, I thought I'd share these with you. I took these on my travels to Africa, I was very lucky to see them.

The photos are all great - but thanks especially for the painted hunting dog photos - gorgeous animals, my local zoo has a pack and I think they're just beautiful.

Mind you they also have red pandas and I NEVER see them out of their hides or trees! How wonderful to see one wandering about like that.

Very cool!! I took some great photos when I went to the Philly Zoo a couple years ago...
If you ever go to PA again go to the Poconos to the Snake and Animal Farm.. They have a whole buch of alligators (or crocs?) and a huuuggggeeee Retic.
