Has someone a photo of a double mutation hypo albino or albino hypo? (i don't know what's the best term...)
This is classic genes but we never see it !

Sorry for my grammar :nope:

I'm sure you'll get photos of known hypo amels posted, but I really don't think you'll be able to see much difference between those and regular non-hypo amels.

i have made a lot of researches but breeders aren't sure of the real morph.
only found an hypo amel keys corn posted by carol.

Hybinos

From my experience of what i have seen not only in Corn snakes but also kings and milks the albino or amel phenotype masks the hypo phenotype. By the way the the term is used often to describe such an animal is "Hybino"! The problem is both are a result of a lack of black pigment (melanin). So the hypo gene is usually not known unless it is proven thru breeding. Or you had both parents to be known hybinos.

Yeah see the one there looks like a sunglow amel. You can get the same result with an animal that has been selectively bred for little or no balck borders without it actually being a true hypo.

Yes i noticed :spinner:

:wavey: thank's for the hybino explanation that's the same things for leopard gecko i think...!

In the milk snake community it is... It is not generally used in Corn Snakes to describe a Hypo Amel...

my snake is one because of the parents being hypo looks the same as other amels though.
