This Butter doesn't have a name yet!
We got her from a pet store who had her for awhile, and just couldn't sell her. I was told she's a butter motley, but she ISN'T a motley, so I think they may have mixed up, and she is actually het. motley. She is a little bit of a spazzamatazz at times!

The female pastel ball python! A very shy girl, I'm lucky I even got 1 photo!

Cindel
The goldust motley female. Her colors are not true in these photos, the editing on these ones was very difficult and left her colors a bit more yellow than usual.

I'd also like to ask, how many of you out there shoot Nikon? Does anybody have any good resources on lighting? Oh heck i should make a separate thread for that, lol!

Fantastic pics! The ball pythons have the sweetest faces, and the corns are beautiful. Love the normal stripe male. "Noodz" made me laugh... is that because she looks naked?

lol, Noodz because she looks nekkid, and also like a pasta noodle! (as most snakes do) and that's why her future boyfriend is named Spags.

thanks!

Very nice collection.

Moreso out of curiosity than serious buying, how much is that girl 100% het for albino going for?

honestly i haven't thought too much about pricing yet. the pricing in Canada is ALL OVER THE PLACE! lol. i think we may wait until the BC Reptile Club show on Oct 30th - 31st and get a feel for what het. albinos are going for. i've seen them priced anywhere from $75, to $275. it's a really hard decision, as i feel these babies are gorgeous and have fantastic temperament. the mom is the single most docile snake i have ever handled, and same with dad. have never received a strike or anything from either of them.

Beautiful photos of gorgeous snakes. I love the baby BPs. They have the sweetest puppy dog faces, and when they do that "periscope" thing with their heads looking up and out of their coils, it just melts my heart :). Thanks so much for sharing the pix!

P.S. That snow stripe is to die for!

Edit: I forgot to add that I don't use a Nikon, I use a Canon 50D, so I can't help with Nikon-specific lighting equiment, I'm afraid.

I can't be of any help either when it comes to digital cameras but thanks for sharing pics of your beautiful snakes!!!

i know, the periscoping just makes my heart melt! thanks everyone.

as for lighting, it's definitely an intimidating thing to get into! SO many settings and possibilities...and a need for MORE photog equiptment...*grumble* my wallet does not like that!

Those are some seriously gorgeous snakes. I really like those ball pythons and makes me want another, lol.

That first butter without a name makes me think of Aspen when I look at her ;). Aspen trees have the most brillant yellow leaves in fall.
