Well, I did a preliminary count today and there are at least 5 females, maybe all 7 of them are female. The albino is a definite female.
The two undetermined mice looked like they had nipples, but the spots weren't nearly as visible as the definite girls. Do male mice have non-functional nipples like human males do? If so, this is most definitley what I saw. If not, I may have 7 girls.
However, and maybe I made this up as I was looking at them, but it did seem that the "males" had larger urethra areas than the girls. Is this to be expected? That even in 12-13 day olds the penis would already look larger than the small bump that the females have?

Well, I just checked them again (two days later) and I have 6 females and 1 male. The perfect ratio! I can keep them all now and use them as breeders, instead of killing some off. I know I'm going to have to start killing off some mice soon, but I really hated the idea of having to kill off a few if I didn't end up with the right sex ratio. It's been fun watching them grow and they are all pretty used to me handling them. Side note: The mom looks as if she's going to have A LOT of babies next go around as she's already starting to look big and she has at least a week to go still.
