Photoshopped?

My friend took this picture at her house on Friday. I was wondering if anybody here with experience thinks it might be staged...

Its photoshopped.

a) If you zoom in the bottom of the head is blurry
b) Its completely different contrast and lighting
c) Ghosts dont exist.

;)

Hahaha! I rep thee

Until science or first hand experience can prove otherwise i shall believe what i believe and you can believe what you believe!. :)

AHA! You know THERE IS a scientific explanation for ghosts.... Let me find the quote on the TAPS website:
Before you can understand what an entity consists of you need to understand a
bit about the human body of the living person. Everything you do, see, hear, taste, feel, etc. Is controlled by electrical impulses sent to your brain
from your body's different parts or from your brain to your different body parts.

For example... right now you are reading this webpage, an electrical impulse is
going from your eyes to your brain carrying the information your eyes are seeing. As you scroll down this page your brain is sending electrical impulses to your hand to move your mouse, etc...

When a person dies their individual systems shut down independently, your kidneys fail, then your respitory system shuts down, then your heart stops beating and finally your brain stops functioning. Since all these systems are controlled by electrical impulses the electricity has to go somewhere. It is a general law of physics that
energy can not be destroyed, so where does the energy go when your body shuts down? It is released into the atmosphere!

When a person dies a slow or natural death the energy is released more slowly and in a less concentrated state than if a person were to die a sudden or violent death. This is why I believe hospitals are not the most haunted places even though more deaths occur in them then anywhere else.

Another theory I have been tossing around for some time now is what makes certain locations more likely to have a ghost than others. I believe it all boils down to
electromagnetic fields trapping the energy that is released at time of death.

For example...Everyone has heard of at least one haunted theatre in the area they live. Theatres are huge electromagnetic fields, they have high voltage electrical systems in them to support the sound and lighting equipment that is used for their shows. Theatres used to be very dangerous places to work at one time, it was very easy to have a lighting rig fall down on someone and kill them, it was also easy for someone to fall from a catwalk that is high above the stage. The ingredients were all
there for a sudden and violent death. When that occurred from time to time the energy that was released from the victim's body was trapped by the much stronger electromagnetic field and you now have a ghost.

One of the tools we use for paranormal research is an EMF meter. These meters are designed to measure changes in electromagnetic energy. Many times while investigating a haunting we have discovered very high levels of electromagnetic energy present. Alot of times this is caused by high voltage electrical systems or by old wiring. Both will create an electromagnetic field.

There is a strong possibility that despite the theories of some other researchers it is not the ghost that causes the electromagnetic energy, it is the electromagnetic
energy that causes the ghost.

That kind of says it. :)

Thats not scientific proof, I want a real published and accredited scientific study. Not some bald blokes account of what he reckons happens.

Its an interesting theory, However it is completely based in fiction and not fact. The human body does not store electrical charge like say, A battery. Everytime an electrical impulse is sent through the nerves that electrical charge has been generated in the body for that specific second. When the person dies no more electrical impulses are created and any "unspent" electrical impulses will simply dissipate, Much like the electricity in a lightning strike. Any electrical impulses already traveling through the nervous system will simply travel through the nerves until they are "spent" hence why when something dies suddenly, For example an animal in a slaughter house its legs will continue to spasm even though it's body is infact dead.

Atleast thats how i understood it when i questioned my science tutor in High school.

Oh yeah, and the energy is converted into heat. Hence why when someone dies their body temperature raises slightly.

Its not the reflection of the man in green because the reflection has no hair on top or a very bad receding hair line. On the ghost theory I'm a simple person i don't believe in any thing i can't prove, i don't disbelieve it either. Unless its common sense and all the evidence is there they just missing one piece so can't be proved. Unless i see one n thats all the proof I will need.

I vote "chopped". There are, IMHO, some masking "remnants" from adding the head, which look different than the usual "noise" you'll find at the edges separating two different colors.

My two cents.

Oh yes, and the people that studied this for years in colleges and universities and are paranormal investigators know less than a high school science teacher!?! Bull!

And that's how you "understood" it, how do you know you're not wrong?

Gotta agree, that is one of the most "reaching" explanations I've ever read. Guess I should move and sell my house, because I've had probably hundreds of batteries drain through non-use, so it's only a matter of time until all those battery ghosts gang up to get me :crazy02:

Not taking any stand on the existence of ghosts, because I am neutral on that, but that explanation is just laughable, IMO.

And back to the topic at hand, it definitely looks edited to me. That little head is just completely out of place color/lighting wise.

Why would a paranormal inverstigator have a higher level of education than a Science tutor? "BULL!". Do science teachers in America not go to University to study their specialist subject then?.

How do you know YOUR copy & pasted theory is not wrong?.

Electrical impulses are caused by electrons being moved around the body, When you die there is no longer any force to create the movement of the electrons. The electrons can not "Escape" from your body into the atmosphere. They simply stop moving. You decompose. The End.

Sorry, But i find it hard to believe that everytime someone dies electrical impulses dart out of their body and start wizzing around your local Odeon.

Please If your going to try and argue this persons theory, Which i admit is interesting yet flawed PLEASE attempt to atleast find some scientific analysis to collaberate it, As opposed to getting angry and attempting to insult my education.

Oops, meant to add onto the bottom a Jazz-esque sign off as "Well i guess no matter how much scientific reason i give you, Its just turtles all the way down for you.
