First one is Rear Fanged... so I just try not to let him "chew" on my finger...




We all probably know what the second one is... more bark than bite but as you can see he went for my finger and missed, only to land his face right in one of his water dishes... ha ha sucka. :crazy02:

Its an olive whip snake, or sometimes the natives in Surinam call it a "machete". Its similar to a racer - its scientific name is Chironius exoletus.

Some people confuse them with the mussurana, which eats the indigenous vipers from surinam across to trinidad&tobago
