Hey people, i am new to corn snakes and i have not fed mine yet, i am actually feeding him today. How late would i be able to feed him or is there not really a specific time? They lady i got mine from said she feeds him 2 baby pinkies a week. She said when the first one is down all eaten in his stomach i can offer the secone one. When is the pinky in his stomach? Like how far down till i should offer him another

you can just put him in a little box and just place the 2 pinkies in there with him...he'll eat it when he wants to, you shouldn't have to give them to him separately.

but be careful not to pick him up until both pinkies are at least half-way down his body and he's moving about normally again.

Your corn snake should eat at any time of the day. Once he has finished swallowing the pinky it will start slithering around a bit looking for more food. Thats when you can offered the 2nd. If starts at the wrong end it shouldn't make a difference. Your snake will be able to swallow the pinky fine. So if that ever happens dont attempt to stop it. If it is really having trouble swallowing anything it will keep trying or start at another end. So you have nothing to worry about.

ok thanks, well i just fed my little guy and they first pinky he struck at the end and it went down feet first so i was stresing out because i thought it had to be head first, but it went down perfectly fine :) and they next pinky he got head first and he is working on that one this very moment :) so as far as i know fir right now his first feed from me went good :):)

yea. you shouldn't worry about it. as long as its the right sized meal your snake will be fine. sometimes they have troubles with the arms and legs, but they just gotta work at it. So you shouldn't worry and do not interfere. Glad your first feeding went well =)
