Was not expecting to see this when I opened the thread...I thought maybe you were breeding rats or mice :p

Very cool to see something a little less common. Fascinating animals, scorpions are!

Congratulations! Wow- that seemed like it took forever!! How did you know she was in labor? How did they come out? How did they get up on her back???

PROGRESSION THREAD!!!

And is she going to feed soon, and does she die now, once the babies are on their own? I hope not!!

Sorry for the late reply, working emergency does not fit into my computer schedule XD

I bought her gravid, so it was just a waiting game. I knew she was in labor when I went to check her Tuesday night and there was a lil white squirmy thing coming out of her o_O

She ate for me on Thursday (a pinkie mouse) so I thought she was done at 13-14 babies, then the next morning the was still poppin em out and now I count about 20-22. As they come out of her, she kinda cradles them and they end up crawling onto her back at thair own pace. She will feed them pieces of her own food by 'handing' pieces of crickets up to them on her back. After a week or so they will venture off of her and molt, slowly darkening by molting. At that point they eat on their own. She wont die, but if they piss her off they will XD
