PJCR041 - Bloodred het Amel, Caramel x Same

Jay@PJCReptiles

"Quality Before Quantity"
Hi Everyone,
This clutch has been pipping over the last few days and the outcome seems to be pretty good. This clutch contains 1 Fire, 2 Sulfurs and at least 1 Caramel Blood with the rest being all "Old School" Bloods. I have noticed that the Fire and the Sulfurs are pretty bright right out of the egg. Can't wait to see what they look like once they shed.
This clutch also produced the first casualties of the season. There was another Fire that pipped but never emerged from the egg. It was quite kinked and deformed. There was also a Bloodred that didn't make it. It seems that he pipped his egg directly under another egg that was sitting on top of it. I think it might not have been able to get it's head out of the egg and may have drown. Thanks for looking and I hope you like.

Jay

Ooh, sweet clutch! Sorry about the losses. Huge congratulations (and a bit of envy) from me on the rest of them!

Nice and congrats! Great mix. So, "old school" - they will be the darker cherry red instead of the orangy-red? I've been wanting one of those. Do you have pics of the parents anywhere?

Sorry about the 2 that didn't make it :(

Nice Jay, very nice.. Can't wait to see if I get something similair this year, using an "Ole School" Rich Hume creation..

sweet~nichole~marie mentioned..

So, "old school" - they will be the darker cherry red instead of the orangy-red?

If you seen a dark cherry blood first hand, I would love to know who has them..

The only one I have seen is "Wild Cherry" that Marsha @ Poppycorns has. And that is only in pics, not in person. But she called it an "old school" blood so I thought maybe that is what Jay has, also.

Here is the one I am talking about. The color is amazing and I have been on the lookout for something similar since I first looked at her website.

Sorry to hijack your thread, Jay. I was just hoping that your bloods were the color I was looking for :)

Ok the pictures have my interest peaked. What is a Sulfur?
Is that the lighter orangy sort of looking one in photo one?
