My Corn Snake has something really wrong with him. See my father accidently put cedar in for the bedding, four days ago. When I came home from a trip, I saw the cedar and my cornsnake was VERY innactive. I didn't know what to do, so I got online fast, knowing that cedar was bad, and I got information leading to me changing the bedding to paper towels temporarily. Now I can't tell if my corn snake is dead or not, and my dad feels Awful. I understand that cedar messes with the corn snakes respiratory system, and that it is basically toxic, but I don't know if maybe I can feel for a heart beat or anything? Any helpful suggestions... I'm in dire need of them.
:shrugs:

I'm not the person to answer this. But have you tried handling him? If so what does he do? Yes Ceder is bad for the snake. It was wise on your part to change out his substrate to the temporary Paper Towel. But you might have to wait a while longer for someone else more experienced to answer it.

First of all try handling him, check if he is still alive,

Secondly, Id move him away from the infected area immedeately or he may get another wiff and may be in more serious problems

All the best mate, I hope he is ok :(

I agree with the others, try handling the snake. Also try cleaning out the cage in case the scent of the cedar is still in there.

Best of luck. Please keep us posted with your progress.
