Depends on its age. Hatchlings will grow rapidly, whereas adults past 4 years grow very little, if at all between sheds. Changing food sizes (e.g. going from pink to fuzzy) will also result in an acceleration. And just to complicate the issue, each Corn seems to have its own individual growth rate!

Did you have a particular age of Corn in mind?

from hatching to 9-10 monthes old a corn on average will get to about 24-30 inches depending on the indivual snake, some will grow bigger and some smaller but thats just an estamate of the snake i've bred over the last 5 years and an average size increase with the snake being approx 8-9 inches from the first shed. After that they slow down a little and may take another 18-24 monthes to become 3 1/2-4 1/2ft long.

Also, Rats have a lot more calcium in them than mice, So your snake would grow faster on rats than mice. But I suggest that you dont feed your corn rats untill he/she is at least 2years old

its a hatchling that dosent shed often as it should it is a foot and a half and is eating 3pinkies a week the last time it shedded it had only shedded once in four and a half months which i think isnt normal wheras my others shed once every 3-4 weeks

thanks in advance

if it's eating 3 pinkies, i would change that to a fuzzie every 5 days.
Have you bred snakes cornsnakekid? as all my snakes i have previously bred have had young which shed within 5 days of hatching and usually after 2 feeds will shed again. That applies to most snakes and not just corn's.
