Hi,

I answered the other stuff in the other post.

That looks like an anery or a ghost, hard to tell from the picture.

A 'Vivarium' is one name for a captive reptiles home.

A slogh is another name for a shed.

Please use the search function on the right side of the tool bar as all of your questions are answered there.

Also, please don't cut and past your other post and start a new thread. Adding to your original thread is the correct way to go about things.

Good luck learning about your snake and learning about how to use this site,
Adèle

And PLEASE use correct spelling and grammar. Most people on this forum won't even read a post written like yours, much less respond to it. This is not high school. There is no need to dumb yourself down to feel cool.

And if you can't handle a corn then you can't handle a Ball python. Please in the future before considering getting any herp for the animal's sack do tons of research.
With snake's and any other reptile you can't just set up a enclosure and bring one straight home you need to know their needed temp on the hot side and cold, their needed humidity level, what they eat and how often they eat and lots of other things too.

To get you started here's a link to the Husbandry and Basic Care FAQ. Another good source is Kathy and Bill Love's book Corn Snakes: The Comprehensive Owner's Guide. As for getting a ball python, I agree with lozzer - a ball python is harder than a corn for different reasons and if this is your first snake you would be better off with a corn IMO. Good luck!

COOL pic!
my snakes climb too. i just set up a 29 gal for Blaze and i'm searching for some grapevines or a piece of driftwood to put in there for him to climb on. he already has a medium fake vine and a hammock that he just hangs out on.
Shadow is always climbing to the highest point he can find and will curl up in a ball and stay there all day.

Welcome to the forum! Having a corn is very interesting and addicting. My corns love climbing, some more than others. Your corn looks very nice and I tend to think it's a ghost.
