I'm so glad that this ancient poll has been resurrected and that people are again participating in it. I'm sure its results will prove invaluable to the way we all approach our husbandry.
Even though this is an ancient poll, I'll give a very belated response.
I "spot clean" once a week and change water bowls every couple days, but I don't dump the tubs and replace the aspen for three to four weeks. The immediate spot cleaning goes a long, long way toward making the aspen last. I get company over and they can't believe it doesn't stink in the snake room, so I guess my way works well enough. :shrugs:
Oh, and a tip for those who wanna save themselves some work. I noticed many of you say you clean on feeding day. Doing this, you garauntee that your nice clean cages will be fouled in 2-3 days. I don't know about everybody elses corns, but mine usually deficate 2-3 days after a feeding. This being said, I ussually hold off on the full scale cleanings until a few days after a feeding. Hope this saves you guys a smidgeon of work. Happy corn keeping folks.
