Sounds definately like poo. Vomit usually looks like a whole mouse partially digested and smells absolutely horrible. Maybe your snake needed to poo really bad and needed a place to hide, so crawled behind you and let it out :D

The nose knows!
If you can't tell by looking at it, the smell of a regurgitation is so awfull compared to snake poo, you will have no trouble identifying it.

Actually, a sick snake's poo will smell slightly of regurge. I mean it's definately poo since it came out the other end, but it can have partially undigested mouse (lookes like a deflated mouse), and smells of regurge. Sooo.... beware the nasty smelling poo.

13mur 6,
I guess I could agree to a point--but I have never had a poo that smelled anywhere near as bad as a regurge. I also have been fortunate enough not to deal with any major illness'. I have had some problems with regurge in the early spring--sometimes a 10 degree drop in temp after even a light feeding has brought them on. I'm either to eager to get them up and humpin or the darn Florida wheather is to unpredictable.

poo

does anyone know what a bad poo looks like. i cant smell so i dont know if she has bad poos and reading those posts is getting me worried. my friend took care of her for three weeks and got pooed on. he says it took three washes to get the smell out. the poo looks like bird poo, but a bit thicker. no signs of undigested mice though. just two colours off white and almost black. sorta lumpy in the dark parts.
