poop while shedding? lol

well my male Okeetee Harold has just shed, and while he was shedding, about halfway through, he stops... and just poops lol it was kind of funny (easy to cleanup) but I was just wondering if anyone else has had that happen, whether you've seen it happen or have noticed it later on when you find the shed.

I find little presents in the shed skin on a regular basis. I think maybe they wait while they are deep blue and can't hold it any longer so poop while slithering out of the old skin.

All the time. If you watch a snake shed, like very carefully close up, you can see that they expand/contract/stretch/unstretch their body and skin as they liberate themselves from the old skin. I'm sure all of the gyrating and locomotion....frees everything up...to get on the move.

My two older snakes never shed with out a crap!! lol.

I didn't word it as well as Eric but pfft, I'll never had a chance to even get that smooth. LOL

Well, I was a bored and lonely kid. I have watched many strange and odd things. :laugh:

I herped a lot, too, and all species' musk smells different, too. Often learned the hands-on or on-hands way.
