Not corn related, but snake related, certainly.

Our baby BP (hatched in February) ate a large adult mouse today. He struck. It popped. Guts, heart, lungs, intestines... everywhere. I waited until he finished, gave him a quick rinse in luke warm water, and put him back in his viv to digest.

How can I get the smell out of his feeding tub?

Is there somewhere else I should have posted this besides ballpython.net?

You can clean it with a weak bleach solution. Just rinse it very very well. Rinse until you no longer smell any bleach and let it air dry.

One of my snakes popped his meal once, and he got entrails on the side of his face. I went to grab a damp paper towel to wipe him off, but he took care of it himself by sliding his face along the side of the feeding container.

Gross! That's happened to me a few times- more oftgen when I'm rubbing them dry. It happens with mice that have thawed in hot water too long.

This just happened to me with my biggest corn. He has guts on top of his head. Eewwwww. And he tried to bite himself a few times because it's also on his body.

oh goodness..

I have a horrid feeling this will happen to me at some point..not looking forward to it.. like at all.
gosh I already have scaring pictures in my head. O_O

I did remove the junk on his head before putting him away. I wondered if I would get bitten because he was pretty agitated about the mouse he couldn't find! But he didn't try.
