I think the reason it's hard to find a price is because in most cases it's hard to distinguish a true bloodred stripe from just a normal stripe. I have a normal stripe het bloodred adult and if one didn't know better they could swear it's homo bloodred stripe. I have a granite stripe and a hypo bloodred motley that hatched this year. The granite stripes sell for some where around $275, but I'm not sure about the other one. So maybe you could go off of the price of the granite stripe? Not sure.

Those are some awesome babies you have! I love the almost patternless one. :)

Well there's definately no normals as mom is a bloodred het stripe and dad is a granite het stripe (so all are het anery) but now I swear I am seeing hypo going on that pink striped one...O___O!

I am glad you guys like them ^_^ They're not old enough to sell yet but I wonder how it is to ship cornsnakes back into the US? I probably need a business liscense and some $$ for permits or something :-offtopic

I was going to ask about that one. LOL It looks like a hypo blood to me. Even the pupils look red. Very nice either way. Congrats and I hope you can figure it out.

Yup Mr.Pink (not to be his real name I hope) will hopefully be the father of some awesome striped ghost bloods in a few years ;) I am miffed as to why there are no regular hypo bloods though...odd.

I am going to update this thread (or make it over somewhere else) with some more photos after Halloween. I am down to 10 babies now (sold 1, 1 died, 3 culled) and the bloodred stripe pair are getting so bright it's amazing.

The hypo bloodred is finally eating like a champ (3 times in a row with now with no hesitation) which is a great relief! He had eaten once the very first time (decapitated pink body) but not again for 8 weeks after. Do you know why he wouldn't eat for me? He hates brained pinks! It's got to have blood but if it's brained, no way! Little vampire breast...(I can't beleive that it took this long to figure it out) :nope: He's scarfing down pinks, ASF pinks and hamster pinks with no preference. Guess I have to name him now

And still no price suggestions...hmm...

$200/each for striped bloodreds (DEFINITELY striped bloodreds - not stripes POSSIBLE bloodreds) seems pretty close to standard. Even with the current state of the economy, I'd think anything less than $150/each would be a little upsetting for most breeders. :(

The extra hets doesn't really change the price that much - not like it used to, anyway.

Ok that sounds like a reasonable suggestion (I've heard from $150-350 so I was trying to narrow it down a bit since that is a big price range).
