So I have had a corn snake (well corn snake/rat snake if we wanna get technical) for about 2 weeks now... and I just fed her today a f/t mouse. Everything was find and she ate the mouse, but now I'm noticing that one side of her mouth is either.... A) Partly open a little or B) Has something black stuck in between her upper and lower jaw. I don't really know what it could be so, so should I be worried or is there any thing I can do to say clean it out???

Thanks for all your help!!!!!

Might be adjusting the jaw back in place, keep an eye one the snake for the next day or two and check back.
It should be fine tho.

I fed my yearling a seemingly large fuzzy a few days ago and it took her a bit to get it down and I too, noticed that her mouth remained slightly open on one side. Though, after a few minutes, she relocated everything she needed to relocate and she was back to normal. So, if you think it's open, just give it a bit and see what happens. If it's something stuck, I'll let a more experienced member help you with that.

As other posters have said, it's just that her jaw hasn't reset yet, so don't worry. If you keep watching, you might see her yawn :)
