Problem with Skin

I guess I would soak him and see if any of it comes off. There are instructions in the sticky at the top of this section. Then, if he eats and you still have him when he sheds, it's likely that will shed off. You could also soak him every day for 20 minutes in a solution of room temp water and beta dine, strong enough to be the color of weak tea. Soak him in plain water first, so he drinks, if he wants to. You can also put triple antibiotic without lidocaine or benzocaine or anything like that on the spots.
 
ok thanks. I will try soaking him for 20 mins right now and see how it goes. But after a couple days, if i dont see any progress i may just release him. Since he was wild caught.
 
Make sure you use shallow water, and put a rough washcloth in with him to slither through.

Generally, in my experience, WC snakes are a lot more trouble than they are worth. I'm not saying it is "wrong" to keep an exceptional snake you have found, but that you will have fewer potential problems with a snake from a breeder.

Good luck with him, though! I'm sure he will benefit from a little TLC no matter what you end up doing with him.

Oh- they have territories, so please, if you release him, put him back where he came from if possible.
