Ok buddies. can you tell me somethin....
If my snakes are about 80cm long and live in a tank thats only about 50cm long...is that 2 small for three snakes to live in even if they were together at birth? and what are the signs that show that the snakes are to big for their home?

Thanx if you can help me out guys.

Kevin.

Yes, that is too small for 3 snakes!

But I think it is ok for one.

A general rule I have heard of is that the cage should be at least 1/2 of the snake's length long, and 1/4 of it's length wide.

That was an interesting question Kevin.
I would agree that your setup is too small for 3 snakes but ok for 1. My own adult snakes are both over 4 feet in length and each lives in its own 36" tank. I'm starting to feel that even that is too small and I'm seriously considering moving them up to 48" tanks if I can find the extra space .... and cash.

Actually, I think any size tank is too small for more than one snake; they'd probably be happiest if they each had a separate tank.
